Why use a paint-prep degreaser before ceramic coating?

Does the 12H wording mean the coating is scratch-proof?
No. The 12H+ wording appears on the original packaging, but no independent hardness-test report is provided here. A coating does not make paint immune to scratches, stone chips, poor washing methods or other physical damage.
Will ceramic coating remove existing swirl marks or scratches?
No. Complete any appropriate paint correction before applying the coating. The coating is a finishing and care step, not a repair for deep scratches, chips, fading or damaged clear coat.
How long should I wait before washing or exposing the coating to rain?
Follow the curing and water-exposure instructions supplied with your bottles. Temperature, humidity and application conditions affect the process. Do not replace those instructions with a universal drying time; keep the vehicle protected for the required period.
Is 60 ml enough for an entire car?
Coverage varies with the vehicle’s surface area, the amount applied and the number of layers. The kit contains 60 ml of coating and 60 ml of degreaser, but there is no guaranteed number of cars or coats. Plan the application using the supplied guidance.
Can I apply this coating to PPF, wraps or matte paint?
Check both the coating label and the film or finish manufacturer’s guidance first. A product intended to enhance gloss can change the appearance of a matte finish, and compatibility with paint does not establish compatibility with every film, plastic or coating.
